For companies
Understand who should sign up for the deposit system, and get started on the sign-up process easily. You can also access information about our partnerships.
Find out if you should sign up your company
Here, you can find the answer to whether your beverages are included in the deposit system, and whether you should be signed up as an Importer, Producer, or Intermediary, who require deposit marks for filled beverage containers, or as a Store, Office, or Restaurant, who are in need of disposing of empty containers. If you fall into both categories, you will need to go through the sign-up process twice.
Are you in need of deposit marks for your beverages?
In order to get deposit marks, you need to be signed up in the deposit system as “Importer, Producer, or Intermediary”. This is typically the case for importers of manufacturers.
Are you in need of disposing of empty containers?
In order to be eligible for disposal of empty bottles and cans with deposit marks, you need to be signed up in the deposit system as “Store, Office, or Restaurant”.

Partnerships with Dansk Retursystem
Can you help us make the Danish deposit system even better than it is today, where 9 out of 10 containers are returned for recycling?
We continually work towards finding new solutions enabling us to increase the return percentage or making us more efficient as an organization overall.
If you believe that your company, organization, institution, or NGO can help create new, innovative products and solutions which increase the return percentage or makes our organization run more efficiently, we are always interested in hearing from you.
